My personal connection to spirit is a huge inspiration for my photography and art. Having a relationship with the elements and nature helps shape how I see the world and how I am able to tell a story. I am grateful for each experience in my life that has brought me closer to God and the spirit world. It’s the little whispers that remind me that I am aligned with my purpose and helping capture other peoples special moments in life is a gift.

It’s simple. I LOVE to feel connected to others. I am a people person and having the opportunity to make meaningful connections is what lights me up. I love to be the person who others feel completely comfortable around right off the bat. It means so much to me when someone can let their guard down and just be real. I see the beauty in imperfections and truly believe each one of us has something so unique and special to bring into the world and that is why being able to connect with others is an integral part of my day to day.

I have always been told I have a free spirit and I can totally agree. Feeling free from the box society likes to put us in is so important to me. Never do I want to feel constricted in life or in my art. Freedom leaves room for messy, real, and innovation. One thing I have learned over time is how important my autonomy and the autonomy of others are in order for us to feel safe to be who we really are. This is why freedom is a core value of mine. Not just for me, but for everyone who interacts with me. Everyday I intentionally choose to embody freedom and help others see they can make that choice as well.

I mean this is why I am an artist right? Creativity is my blood sweat and tears. It’s what wakes me up in the morning and helps me stay grounded. It’s how I look at the world around me. Creativity has always been something that has come naturally to me, although over the years it has become a staple part of who I am. From interior design to photography, to painting, to floral arrangements I literally choose to be creative in every way of my life, and that’s what helps me feel closer to God and my purpose.
